Pearl Testing in UK

Post by mrb »

Hello everyone , A friend needs to have a melo pearl tested in UK . Could anyone suggest a reliable lab there. Also , with a higher fee , would a lab do the test in presence of the owner ?

Thanks.

Have you considered:

Most labs do not allow guests. It is a liability. But call them and ask.

Hello! If you are still searching For testing a melo pearl in the UK, you might try the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A) or the International Gemological Institute (IGI). Some labs offer in-person testing for a higher fee, so it's worth asking them directly.

You can try contacting Gem-A (The Gemmological Association of Great Britain) or the GIA in London for reliable pearl testing. Some labs may allow testing in the owner's presence for an additional fee; it's best to inquire directly.
