Just got this back from the framers. It was there much longer than I would have liked.
It's taken a long time but I've finally finished my GG. I would like to thank Paul Mattlin for his help in getting me back on track. Who would have thought that the GO Tucson dinner at El Charro would have helped me finish the program but Paul introduced me to the Legacy Program which motivated me to finish. My wife being there also helped.

A couple of observations: 1) The online classes were well done and help was always available. They want you to succeed! 2) Remember you can use learning centers such as Huntington or Kumon for those classes that require proctored finals. 3) In my case taking the required labs was easier and less expensive when they were available in Tucson. Remember to look at where the labs are offered. You can save some money. 4) For the Gem ID class I can't stress enough how beneficial it is for one to spend a week or two at the workroom at GIA Carlsbad. All the instructors there were extremely helpful and showed me methods and shortcuts that I would not have been aware of if I hadn't gone and pestered them with questions. A big collective THANK YOU to them. A final thank you goes to Lo Combs who was my Gem ID instructor who got me through the class with her help and advice.
Now on to my next project. Using my iPhone to do acceptable gemstone photography
