Is it just obsidian?

Post by obieblue »

I hope I have a better stone than just obsidian! It's practically all black in regular light but if you hold it up to a light bulb or the sun it glows an orangish creme color or a light earthy peach color. It's has a cubic natural waxy form , very confusing for me. Also under black light it turns a deep blood red color thank for any suggestions

It certainly resembles obsidian strongly, but photos aren't enough for an ID.

As Stephen mentioned, pics alone are useless.
