Save your money.
Buy a set of triplet magnifiers 7x 14x 10x 14x and 20x and a couple of maglights and gem tweezers and have money left over.
I have never heard of Deutsche Optik. That is a very damning piece of data.
I bet I could name ten German optical firms that most people have never heard of.
Edit: They are a high priced retailer selling boyscout toys.

Empress ... FWIW, I went through the entire GIA GG distance education course with only a 10x loupe. Yes, it would have been great to have a microscope, but I sure learned to identify a lot of inclusions with only that loupe (helps a lot in the field!). Save up your money and purchase a good microscope. Gene helped me out (I bought a great used one!) ... I'm sure he'll do the same for you .
