I actually got these moldavites during the New Age-boom, which was in the early 90's here in Scandinavia. The seller got annoyed as I described these "gifts to mankind" merely as "interesting specimens"...
Nice photo Conny. We'd recently tested some moldavite and those internal features can be very helpful in the identification. ... also got a nice diagnostic FTIR signature on it as well.
The latest Australian Gemmologist has a nice paper by Grant Pearson on this material as well as meteorites.... bear
