that's too bad because the color is really nice, but maybe are you seeing a real nice brown :lol:

I had no idea the cut stones looked pretty nice..I just sold a nice 20 odd something ct. facetgrade crystal about 1 month ago and wish i would have kept it knowing they looked like that..the only one I kept was the nicely formed crystal one..now I wish i would have kept the chewed crystal that was facetgrade..they sem to have an orangish color to them..here is the one I kept out of the little batch i got

as we are talking rare earth things, here are a few other ones which I think are beautiful

Hingganite-(Y) from France, contains Yttrium
The crystal on that picture is only 0.5cm

Limoriite-(Y) from France, crystal is 0.6cm

These two are quite rare species and I doubt they've ever been used as gems. Anyway, good crystals are so rare that it would be a shame to cut them.
