one thing to keep in mind is to buy specimens that will go up in price over time..i have been gobbling up red beryl and some benitoite here and there because in 15 years they will have doubled in price especially the red beryl as long as no other deposits are found..just like the tsumeb specimens..there are no more coming out..they will only go up in price..sweet home rhodochrosite another one..all the big min. collectors and sellers say you should buy the better specimens more so than the mediocre specs. price is an issue but it would be better to buy one real good one than 3 regular ones of the same species(same locale, etc.)

so here is a sweet tourm. on quartz from Rob's site

and of course my beloved JXR ammy..the only amethyst in the "vault" $6000

How about
" i think it's a crystal but it's so damn big"
or
" I was wondering what happened to that table leg"
or
"yes..this will do..en garde"

While looking through this site I discovered that irock will be exhibiting at the Denver G&M show - Sept. 12-14. I'll get to see some of their inventory up close & personal ... oh yeah!!
