i just have a picture of it. i "stole" it don´t remember where :roll:

Hi Pedro- Yes it is very rare. It is said that only 60lbs. has ever been faceted. I have a few- Image

8) WoW, Nicky, those are really nice!! thanks for sharing them with us! how large are the faceted bixbite which you proudly own? gosh, didn't realize that only about 60lbs of the material has been faceted. 8)

probably very very few are faceted but sometimes is rumor usualy more material is cut.
people say that taafeite only 1 dozen is cut, if that is true i already saw those dozen on net :lol:
but few times i see this scarce material on net.

The one in the large case is 1.51ct. The square in the small case is .47ct., the others smaller. From what I understand,the mine is closed and capped with the landscape restored.

1.51cts. wow nick..thats a whopper..hold onto that puppy as an investment stone..as a matter of fact there is talk about reopening the top pit by the owners..the lower pit has been played out and that was where all the best was produced
