Scottish Gemmological Association

Post by Adrian Smith »

Hello everyone

Could I draw your attention to the Scottish Gemmological Association.
http://www.scotgem.co.uk/

Why not become a member? It is currently free to join and there is something for everyone, no matter where you are.

I am happy to sponsor the application for anyone that I know. Sponsorship is not necessary but does require a statement of intent without it.

Kind regards to all

Maybe our next GO dinner will be in the shadows of Edinburgh castle.

Ah well the conferance is in Perth not Edinburgh. Still if you going to Scotland then you might as well see as much as you can. I'll join too Adrian. I never knew you could join seperately from the normal Gem-A. I'm a Fifer myself (Though living in France)and I've always regretted the fact that I've never been "home" when the conference is on.

Looks like your doing well on your recruiting drive...hope they're paying you commision :)

When one is used to distances in the United States, Perth to Edinburgh is a stone's throw.

Would it be permissible to use the email address (info@scotgem.co.uk) to send applications to or are they only accepted via post?
Not a biggie but it would make things quicker...

Hi all

Yes and email would be OK. Probably best to print the form and fill it in and sign it. Then scan and send via email.

Edinburgh city centre is only an hour from Perth. So your GO Dinner in Edinburgh is very Do-able while attending the Perth Conference.

For clarification, the SGA is now a separate entity from Gem-A. We are an Association in our our right.

Thank you for your enthusiasm

Kind regards
Adrian
