Built in Indiana in the 1950s not old the way the seller says. Very serviceable and decently made.
Last price was only about $150. Probably diffraction grating. Adjustable slit. I have not had one of this exact model in my hands but have seen a number of later ones from these folks that were DG models. Would be just fine for gemology especially if bought for the right price. :lol: :lol:

I think I would rather pay $25 than $45.
